REFUND POLICY

The Pretty Platter Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: NOVEMBER 19, 2025

The Pretty Platter (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides custom charcuterie, grazing tables, specialty carts, and related food service experiences. Due to the perishable nature of our products, the time required to source ingredients, and the advance preparation involved in custom events, all sales are considered final. This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all orders and bookings placed with The Pretty Platter and is in accordance with applicable laws in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States.

1. All Sales Are Final (No Refunds)

Because our offerings are made-to-order and rely on fresh, perishable items, all payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

Deposits/retainers

Event bookings

Grazing tables

Charcuterie carts

Boards, boxes, and trays

Custom orders

Workshops, classes, or onsite experiences

Once payment is submitted, your date/time slot and materials are secured, and we begin preparations and purchasing—therefore no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, except where required by Pennsylvania or federal law.

2. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

2.1 Client-Requested Cancellation

No refunds are issued for client-initiated cancellations.

If you cancel more than 14 days before your event, your payment may be credited toward a future booking within 12 months, subject to availability.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event forfeit all payments.

2.2 Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing.

Reschedule dates are not guaranteed and depend on availability.

Only one reschedule is permitted per booking; additional changes may require a new booking and payment.

3. Weather, Venue & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

The Pretty Platter is not responsible for conditions or circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to:

Weather emergencies

Venue cancellations

Vendor issues

Power outages

Acts of God

Government restrictions

Supply chain shortages

In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate rescheduling; however, refunds will not be issued.

If weather or venue changes prevent outdoor setup, the client is responsible for providing an appropriate indoor alternative.

4. Order Changes

Minor adjustments (guest count, menu selections, add-ons) must be requested at least 7 days prior to the event date. Any changes after that point are not guaranteed and may incur additional fees.

5. No Shows

If the client or designated contact is unavailable at the agreed-upon delivery/setup time, resulting in an inability to complete the service, the order is considered fulfilled and no refund or credit will be issued.

6. Quality Concerns

We take great pride in our products. If you experience any concerns regarding quality, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery or setup with photos. We comply with all Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture food safety standards.

We reserve the right to determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a partial credit toward a future order. Refunds are not issued for taste preferences or subjective opinions.

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order or booking with The Pretty Platter, the client agrees not to file a chargeback without first contacting us to attempt a resolution.

We will vigorously dispute any fraudulent or invalid chargebacks to the fullest extent allowed under Pennsylvania law and U.S. federal guidelines.

8. Workshops & Ticketed Events

All workshop/event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you cannot attend, you may gift your ticket to another person, but we do not issue refunds or credits.

9. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

The Pretty Platter is not responsible for allergic reactions. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose allergies and communicate ingredient concerns. Cross-contamination is always possible.

By ordering, clients acknowledge they accept this risk.

10. Acceptance of This Policy

By booking services, paying an invoice, or completing checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
